Terms of Service

1. Introduction

  • These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all commissions and purchases made through Litchies Création's website.
  • By commissioning artwork or purchasing a fursuit, you agree to follow these Terms.
  • The creator reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

2. Artwork Commissions (Drawings)

2.1 Scope of Service

  • The creator offers custom digital illustrations.
  • Commissions are subject to the creator’s artistic style and discretion.

2.2 Payments

  • Prices are listed in €.
  • Full payment or a deposit must be made before work begins.
  • Payments are non-refundable once the artwork has started, unless the creator cancels the commission.

2.3 Deadlines & Delivery

  • Estimated completion times will be communicated before the commission begins.
  • Digital artwork will be delivered via email, Telegram, Discord or download link.

2.4 Revisions

  • Minor revisions (color adjustments, small details) are included.
  • Major changes after concept approval may incur additional fees.

2.5 Usage Rights

  • The creator retains copyright over all artworks.
  • Buyers receive personal use rights (sharing online with credit, printing for personal use).
  • Commercial use requires explicit written permission and may involve additional fees.

3. Fursuit Commissions

3.1 Scope of Services

  • The creator offers custom handmade fursuits and accessories.
  • Each fursuit is unique and crafted according to the buyer’s specifications.
  • A detailed quote (estimate) will be prepared in collaboration with the client before any payment or work begins.
  • Both a Reference Sheet and a duct tape dummy are required to ensure accurate measurements and proper color matching. Variations may occur, and additional fur or materials may be needed beyond the initial estimate. Any extra costs will be billed separately.

3.2 Payments

  • Prices are listed in €.
  • Fur and essential materials must be paid before the project begins.
  • Partial payments may be requested during the project to cover material purchases. Refusal to pay will pause the project until resolved.
  • The total amount must be paid by the end of the project.
  • If payment is not completed within one month after project completion, the fursuit may be resold as a Premade, and the quote will become void.
  • A payment plan can be agreed upon between buyer and creator.
  • Deposits are non-refundable due to material costs.

3.3 Deadlines & Delivery

  • Estimated completion times will be communicated before work begins.
  • Delays may occur due to complexity, workload, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Progress photos will be shared at key stages (e.g., head completion).
  • Delivery costs are not due if the buyer collects the fursuit in person. If shipped, the final shipping cost will be calculated based on weight, dimensions, carrier fees, and communicated at the time of dispatch.
  • The parcel will be insured for the amount stated in the quote.

3.4 Unexpected Costs (Provisions)

  • A contingency provision (up to 20% of the total) may be requested during the project to cover unforeseen expenses (e.g., ordering extra fur, replacing defective parts, or technical adjustments).
  • This provision is not charged at the start and will only apply if necessary.
  • If unused, no additional amount will be requested.

3.5 Warranty

  • A six-month warranty applies for defects (e.g., seams needing repair).
  • Misuse, poor maintenance, or machine washing are not covered.
  • Repairs under warranty will be performed free of labor charges, but return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

3.6 Liability & Care

  • The creator is not responsible for damages, injuries, or misuse of the fursuit.
  • Buyers are responsible for proper care and maintenance of their fursuit.
  • Recommended care includes:
    • Wearing Lycra clothing and a balaclava under the suit to protect the fur.
    • Using fursuit spray (isopropyl alcohol + water) for regular cleaning.
    • Hand-wash only, and air-dry flat.
    • Regular brushing to maintain fur quality.
    • Machine washing is strictly prohibited.

3.7 Intellectual Property & Communication

  • The character design remains the property of the client.
  • Patterns and fabrication techniques remain the property of the creator.
  • Work-in-progress (WIP) photos may be shared on social media or communication channels.

4. Governing Law & Privacy

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union (GDPR compliance).
  • Personal information (name, email, shipping address) will only be used to process orders and will not be shared with third parties.
